Starcraft 2 Units

Blizzard has made limited announcements in Starcraft 2 units especially in Zerg and Terran races; however, Blizzard gave up more information on Protoss.

Terran

Reapers – These are hybrid Marines who carry dual pistols and has the power to jump up and down using their jets. They are very good units to be used in elevated spots taking down units below them with ease.

Zergs

Zerglings – This is same banana as the Starcraft I only to have additional abilities like to go into a brief transition state making them suicidal bombers who can roll across landscape leaving a greenish hue—deadly to opponents.

Protoss

Zealot – This psi-blade centric warriors has the passive ability to charge at opponents closing in on them during attacks or chase.

Immortal – They have shields that activate under heavy attack which easily counter siege tanks. Their weakness? Terran Reapers.

Colossus – Long-legged warriors that has deadly set of dual lasers who can crash zerglings with ease.

Stalker – A quadripedal unit who can blink or teleport forward in a short distance. Great combination with the zealots.

Phoenix – Flying unit that can charge and release a barrage of projectiles. They should have an army with them during attacks since they cannot move or attack once releasing their deadly barrage.

Warp Ray – Flying unit that continously blast laser while increasing its deadly power the longer it fires. They can take down battle cruisers with ease, and combining it with the Phoenix; they prove to be a potent attack.

Mothership – One mothership at a time can be allowed during battle. They have the skills—Time Bomb, Planet Cracker, and Black Hole. Time Bomb surrounds the ship in a translucent spherical field which stops incoming missiles. Planet Cracker fires a series of laser beams that destroy units underneath. The Black Hole creates a black area that sucks everything in it, destroying units rapidly.

Phase Prism – Transports protoss units across the battlefield. They can also replace pylons when they get destroyed, providing power to structures.
