StarCraft II is the continuation of the highly successful epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three popular races are going against each other once again in the real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. The three races armed with upgraded artillery, new high powered units would battle for their survival.

Starcraft 2 is would still feature the single-player campaign including their powerhouse online game plat—battle.net.

The features as reported by Blizzard are:

Full multiplayer support, with new competitive features and matchmaking utilities available through Battle.net

Full map-making and scripting tools to give players incredible freedom in customizing and personalizing their gameplay experience
